Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable network solutions across multiple environments
- Maintain and optimize routing, switching, and firewall configurations
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Implement and manage secure remote access solutions
- Support cloud-based network services and hybrid architectures
- Lead network upgrades and hardware refresh projects
- Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards
- Document network topologies and configuration changes
- Respond to network outages and perform root cause analysis
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce network protections
- Configure and manage load balancers and WAN optimization tools
- Work with vendors to resolve hardware and service issues
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing
- Provide technical guidance to junior team members
- Evaluate emerging networking technologies for potential adoption
- Support voice and data network integration
- Manage IP address allocation and DNS infrastructure
- Implement network segmentation and access controls
- Ensure redundancy and failover mechanisms are operational
- Assist in capacity planning for network growth
