nDreams is looking for a Senior Narrative Designer to join Studio Elevation and play a key role in shaping gameplay experiences for our VR games. You will be accountable for creating and implementing engaging storylines and characters, ensuring alignment with the overall creative vision.
What You'll Do
- Work with level designers and writers to craft scenarios that deliver quality narrative and story beats.
- Take ownership of gameplay dialogue implementation.
- Ensure consistency of voice, tone, and theme across the project.
- Create and maintain design documentation.
- Write specifications for new narrative features.
- Provide critique of others' work with respect and constructive feedback.
- Drive the narrative across multiple disciplines.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years' experience as a narrative, gameplay, or level designer focusing on implementing narrative and systems.
- Ability to take direction as well as drive your own tasks.
- Excellent understanding of interactive storytelling.
- Ability to address and incorporate creative feedback effectively and constructively.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to convey abstract concepts.
- Extensive knowledge of Unreal.
Nice to Have
- A keen VR enthusiast knowledgeable about trends and hottest games in the VR sector.
- Experience with VR development.
- Script writing experience.
