Life360 is seeking a Senior Medical Director, Geriatric Psychiatry Services to architect and expand a national telehealth model dedicated to older adults with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and dementia. This is a visionary, hands-on leadership role for a psychiatrist passionate about innovating geriatric mental healthcare.
What You'll Do
- Lead and oversee all psychiatric teams providing telehealth care to older adults.
- Design, refine, and scale a nationally consistent model of value-based geriatric psychiatry.
- Drive quality improvement, compliance, and performance metrics, monitoring key indicators for an attributed population.
- Work cross-functionally with product and technology teams to translate clinical workflows into the platform.
- Lead clinical recruitment, onboarding, and education programs, including developing an online learning platform.
- Develop and oversee processes for clinical supervision, cultivating excellence in patient care and team support.
- Oversee implementation and growth of models like the CMS Guide and similar payment approaches.
- Support primary care providers through training, consultation, and participation in high-risk case conferences.
- Collaborate with the Compliance Office on clinical policy development and risk management.
- Contribute to strategic planning, financial stewardship, and sustainable program growth, including new services.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clinicians, patients, payers, and government agencies.
- For full-time work, dedicate 40% of time to direct patient care and clinical supervision.
What We're Looking For
- MD or DO degree.
- Board Certified in Psychiatry.
- 8+ years of experience caring for older adults with complex psychiatric and neurocognitive disorders.
- Experience leading clinicians or programs within a behavioral health, telehealth, or value-based organization.
- Strong clinical judgment, operational insight, and data-informed decision-making.
- Passion for advancing integrated, tech-enabled mental healthcare for older adults.
Nice to Have
- Board Certified in Geriatric Psychiatry.
Team & Environment
You will lead multi-state psychiatric teams and report to the Chief Medical Officer.

- Salary range: $305,000 - $320,000 USD.
