Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design of mobile cranes, hoists, winches, and specialized lifting solutions
- Create 3D models, fabrication drawings, and weldment documentation using SolidWorks, Inventor, or Creo
- Conduct load calculations, structural assessments, and finite element analysis for lifting equipment
- Assist in load testing, commissioning, inspections, and root cause analysis for incidents
- Collaborate with manufacturing partners in Houma and across the Gulf Coast to ensure designs are production-ready
- Generate engineering deliverables such as work packages, test procedures, and technical reports
- Provide on-site support for equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and system upgrades
- Ensure all designs and operations adhere to API 2C, DNV, ABS, ASME B30.5, and other relevant lifting standards
