The Senior Marketing Data Analyst acts as a key analytics partner to marketing and growth teams, using data modeling, dashboard development, and cross-functional collaboration to shape acquisition strategies, refine audience targeting, and guide budget decisions. This role directly impacts return on ad spend, customer acquisition cost, and scalable growth by delivering data-driven insights.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with marketing teams to define key performance indicators, prioritize initiatives, and address strategic challenges.
- Advise marketing on strategies to improve return on ad spend and overall marketing efficiency.
- Perform on-demand analyses to identify meaningful marketing insights and trends in campaign performance.
- Develop and manage automated dashboards that enable data-informed marketing decisions.
- Work with product and technology teams to enhance campaign tracking and attribution accuracy.
- Maintain the quality and consistency of marketing data across all channels and platforms.
- Apply SQL, Python, and statistical modeling techniques to improve campaign performance and audience segmentation.
- Evaluate user acquisition, retention, engagement, and market trends to inform strategic direction.
- Partner with data engineering and data science teams on joint analytics initiatives related to marketing.
Requirements
- Minimum of four years of experience in marketing analytics, with a focus on mobile performance marketing.
- Solid understanding of Mobile Measurement Partners such as Appsflyer and mobile advertising identifiers.
- Ability to analyze user behavior, derive insights, and convert data into practical strategies.
- Proficient in Python and SQL for automation and advanced data analysis.
- Experience using Tableau for reporting and dashboard creation.
- In-depth knowledge of attribution models, ROAS calculations, marketing effectiveness metrics, and SKAN.
- Strong communication skills to present complex data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Adaptable to fast-paced, international environments with limited oversight, especially in uncertain situations.
