As the Senior Marketing Cloud Architect, you will drive the strategic design and technical direction of a modern marketing technology ecosystem powered by AI and data intelligence. Reporting into the technology leadership team, you'll be responsible for shaping the long-term architecture of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud platforms, ensuring they align with business growth, customer engagement, and digital transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the end-to-end technical roadmap for Marketing Cloud, integrating AI and real-time data capabilities to enable personalized, omnichannel experiences.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering leaders to translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions.
- Lead the implementation of complex Marketing Cloud features including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Cloud Pages, and Content Builder.
- Design secure, efficient integrations between Marketing Cloud, Salesforce CRM, and third-party systems using APIs and middleware solutions.
- Architect data models and segmentation frameworks that support dynamic personalization and predictive audience targeting.
- Integrate Generative AI tools to enhance content creation, campaign optimization, and automated customer journey orchestration.
- Enable Einstein AI and predictive analytics use cases to improve engagement accuracy and conversion rates.
- Implement A/B testing and experimentation frameworks to continuously refine performance and user experience.
- Ensure compliance with global privacy standards such as GDPR and CCPA across all data flows and processing activities.
- Establish governance practices for data quality, coding standards, and responsible AI model deployment.
- Mentor developers and administrators, serving as a technical authority on best practices and platform capabilities.
Qualifications
You bring deep experience in enterprise marketing technology with a strong foundation in Salesforce platforms. Success in this role requires a blend of technical mastery, strategic insight, and collaborative leadership.
- Minimum of 7 years in digital marketing technology, including at least 5 years focused on Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture.
- Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-functional implementations of Marketing Cloud solutions.
- Proficiency in AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, HTML/CSS, and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Strong grasp of data modeling, marketing automation workflows, and customer identity resolution.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
