What You'll Do
Define the long-term vision for the marketing technology stack, ensuring alignment with business growth and digital transformation goals. Translate strategic marketing objectives into scalable technical architectures using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud.
Lead the design and deployment of omnichannel customer journeys using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Cloud Pages, with a focus on performance, maintainability, and reuse. Architect seamless integrations between Marketing Cloud, Salesforce CRM, and third-party systems through APIs and middleware platforms.
Design data models and segmentation frameworks that power real-time personalization and predictive audience targeting. Implement AI-driven decisioning, including Einstein AI and Generative AI applications for content generation, journey orchestration, and campaign optimization.
Establish governance around data quality, coding standards, and ethical AI usage. Mentor technical teams, promote best practices, and lead experimentation through A/B testing and predictive analytics to continuously improve engagement outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years in digital marketing technology, including at least 5 years focused on Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-level implementations from design through production
- Proficiency in AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, HTML/CSS, and REST/SOAP API integrations
- Deep understanding of data modeling, marketing automation workflows, and customer lifecycle orchestration
- Proven ability to align technical roadmaps with business strategy and stakeholder priorities
- Strong communication skills for engaging both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience troubleshooting complex system behaviors and designing resilient solutions
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams across Marketing, Product, and Technology
- Commitment to customer-centric design and regulatory compliance, including GDPR and CCPA
- Adaptability in fast-moving environments with shifting priorities and emerging technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant or Architect certification
Technical Stack
Work across Salesforce Marketing Cloud components including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, and Cloud Pages. Leverage Data Cloud for real-time segmentation, integrate with Salesforce CRM, and apply AI capabilities through Einstein and Generative AI models.
