Lead enterprise sales growth in the Southeast region by driving adoption of a cutting-edge legal data platform among major law firms and corporate legal departments. This role owns the full sales cycle—from identifying prospects in key markets like Atlanta, Miami, Charlotte, Nashville, Tampa, and Richmond to closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for the Southeast territory, targeting enterprise clients in the legal sector
- Engage directly with C-suite decision-makers, innovation leads, and knowledge management teams to understand business challenges and align solutions
- Use a consultative approach to sell an API-first platform that integrates with data analytics, BI tools, and enterprise data systems
- Navigate long-cycle deals involving technical implementation, data integration, and third-party partners
- Represent the company at regional legal events, conferences, and networking forums to expand market presence
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and leadership teams to refine go-to-market messaging and share competitive insights
- Stay ahead of regional legal tech trends, competitor activity, and evolving client needs
- Meet and exceed individual sales targets while supporting broader team goals
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required
- At least five years of B2B enterprise sales experience, preferably in legal tech, data platforms, or API-based solutions
- Proven success selling to large law firms or enterprise legal departments
- Strong understanding of data technologies including APIs, MDM, CDP, BI, and analytics platforms
- Skilled in managing complex sales cycles with technical stakeholders and integration partners
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and experience working remotely
- Willingness to travel frequently within the Southeast and visit corporate headquarters quarterly
Preferred Background
- JD or MBA a plus
- Existing relationships in the Southeast legal market highly valued
- Experience engaging knowledge management, business intelligence, or innovation teams within law firms
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary ranges from $100,000 to $150,000, with commission and equity participation included. Total on-target earnings will be discussed during the interview process. Work Environment
