Senior Managing Editor for a leading peer-reviewed journal in women’s health nursing. This position plays a central role in shaping the editorial direction of the publication, ensuring high standards of clinical relevance, scientific rigor, and accessibility for practitioners and researchers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end editorial process, from manuscript submission through publication
  • Lead and mentor a team of associate editors, reviewers, and freelance contributors
  • Collaborate with the editorial board to define thematic priorities and special issues
  • Ensure adherence to publishing ethics, peer review standards, and journal guidelines
  • Work closely with production staff to maintain publication schedules
  • Identify and commission content aligned with current trends and gaps in women’s health practice

Qualifications

Candidates must have an advanced nursing degree, with significant experience in academic publishing or clinical editing. Proven leadership in women’s health, obstetrics, or neonatal care is essential. Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with manuscript tracking systems are required.
