Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Senior Manager, UX (Remote - US)

Responsibilities

  • Mentor and lead a team of UX designers, building a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Define and communicate a design vision that aligns with broader product and business strategies.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure a consistent and high-quality user experience.
  • Champion research-led design processes, integrating insights at every stage of product development.
  • Lead strategic planning and execution for complex, multi-product user journeys.
  • Govern and evolve a robust design system to support scalable and consistent design solutions.
  • Facilitate design critiques and promote a feedback-driven culture.
  • Advocate for UX priorities at the executive level and shape the organization's design maturity.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in UX/product design, including 2+ years managing or mentoring designers.
  • Proven leadership in fast-paced product environments with hands-on UX design experience.
  • Deep knowledge of cross-functional collaboration and aligning design with business goals.
  • Strong systems-thinking skills and the ability to guide cohesive multi-surface product experiences.
  • Experience scaling design processes, principles, and reusable patterns.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and advocate for UX strategy internally and externally.
  • Comfortable leading teams through ambiguity and organizational change.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to tell compelling stories through design.
