Responsibilities
- Build, hire for, and integrate a team of technical specialists supporting large-scale and enterprise customer accounts.
- Define performance benchmarks, coaching cycles, and professional growth trajectories for team members.
- Promote a work environment centered on technical rigor, inquisitiveness, and deep customer focus.
- Ensure reliable delivery through standardized workflows for technical assessments, proof-of-concept initiatives, and sales enablement.
- Collaborate with sales leaders and account executives to shape and implement strategic account plans.
- Ensure team members conduct in-depth technical evaluations to uncover relevant use cases and advocate appropriate solutions.
- Allocate team capacity toward the most impactful opportunities, balancing breadth of pipeline support with quality of engagement.
- Introduce consistency and structure to the pre-sales cycle—from initial qualification to technical validation—while remaining adaptable to individual customer contexts.
- Act as a point of escalation and strategic consultant for complex, high-value customer initiatives.
- Coach the team in clearly and credibly differentiating the platform from competing technologies and architectural approaches.
- Ensure technical advisors can clearly communicate both the strengths and constraints of the product and cloud offering to clients.
- Maintain direct engagement with the product suite, staying informed on roadmap developments and engineering progress.
- Represent customer insights and feedback to internal teams including product, engineering, and marketing.
- Coordinate with customer success, professional services, and developer outreach teams to ensure smooth handoffs and continued growth post-sale.
- Collaborate with marketing on field-facing materials, competitive differentiation, and event planning.
- Work with product teams to identify emerging customer requirements, feature demands, and market dynamics.
Compensation
base salary and variable with 70/30 split
