Responsibilities
- Direct regional sales teams to meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals
- Develop and implement territory-specific sales strategies
- Monitor market trends and adjust sales plans accordingly
- Collaborate with marketing to create targeted campaigns
- Identify new business opportunities and expansion areas
- Conduct regular performance reviews with sales representatives
- Forecast sales activity and report on key metrics
- Build relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Lead contract negotiations and close high-value deals
- Ensure compliance with company sales policies and procedures
- Train and mentor sales managers to improve team performance
- Coordinate with customer success teams to enhance retention
- Drive adoption of CRM tools and sales technologies
- Analyze pipeline health and recommend corrective actions
- Support product launches with sales enablement materials
- Represent the organization at industry events and conferences
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitive landscape
- Work closely with finance on budget planning and forecasting
