ICF is looking for a Senior Manager, Operations to lead initiatives enhancing our Corporate Operations maturity and effectiveness. You will manage a team to analyze processes, identify inefficiencies, and design scalable solutions that support strategic decision-making and standardize project management methodologies.
What You'll Do
- Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic projects for Corporate Operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage organizational readiness assessments, stakeholder impact analyses, and create comprehensive resistance management plans.
- Develop, implement, and maintain standardized frameworks, playbooks, processes, and templates to support scalable advancement of project management maturity.
- Oversee change management requirements, partnering with project sponsors to architect robust strategies for successful adoption.
- Coach, mentor, and develop direct reports, empowering them to achieve individual and team objectives while encouraging innovation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications with stakeholders.
- Facilitate regular cross-functional meetings, project status updates, and risk and issue tracking.
- Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating insights to foster mutual understanding.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and transparent team culture that emphasizes accountability and continuous learning.
- Proactively lead risk assessment initiatives to minimize operational vulnerabilities throughout project execution.
- Develop infrastructure to enable scalability and growth.
- Optimize processes using data insights and proven methods, aligning improvements with business goals.
- Monitor project governance and compliance with established standards, adjusting processes for continuous improvement.
- Build robust systems and processes to foster organizational resilience.
- Monitor industry trends and adopt relevant project management tools and technologies.
- Implement new technologies and strategies to boost efficiency and scalability.

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process optimization, operations, business management or program management.
- Minimum 3 years of people management experience.
- Minimum 3 years leading and supporting large-scale corporate initiatives, managing cross-functional teams, and partnering with various corporate departments.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in complex, matrixed environments, preferably within a corporate or consulting firm setting.
- Experience with enterprise-level project governance, performance tracking, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of data analytics, process improvement, change acceleration, and communications.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, stakeholder engagement, and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong ability to identify operational efficiencies and drive continuous improvement.
Nice to Have
- Professional project management certification (PMP, PgMP, Agile Certified Practitioner, or similar).
- Expertise in developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency and governance.
- Training or certification in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter).
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $107,936.00 - $183,491.00
