Responsibilities
- Collaborate with legal counsel and business units on employment, labor, and benefits disputes, managing litigation timelines, discovery processes including electronic data, litigation holds, reviewing legal filings, and preparing position statements under supervision.
- Advise legal and HR teams on compliance matters, supporting policy creation and employee training initiatives.
- Assist the VP of Legal in administering the company’s compliance program, including managing incident reporting systems and related records.
- Support immigration case management in coordination with the People Team and outside legal representatives, under the guidance of the VP Legal.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and update vendor and commercial contracts such as professional services agreements, benefit provider contracts, and statements of work; resolve contractual issues within expertise and escalate complex matters.
- Act as a reliable legal resource for internal teams on legal risks, disputes, and contract lifecycle management, including intake and renewal tracking.
- Lead the design and execution of strategic legal initiatives, identifying opportunities for operational efficiency, automation, and process enhancement from concept to delivery.
- Oversee legal technology systems, including selecting and implementing tools to improve department performance, with focus on document management, litigation holds, sanctions screening, and compliance training platforms.
- Establish key performance indicators, benchmarks, and analytical metrics to evaluate legal department effectiveness in employment litigation and compliance areas.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with legal team members, internal departments, and external partners.
- Organize and lead weekly legal review sessions with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Undertake additional legal tasks and special projects as directed by the legal leadership team.

Compensation
The salary range for this full-time position is $121,000.00 - $190,300.00, + bonus + equity + benefits.
