JLL is hiring a Senior Manager, Lease Administration to lead a global client-dedicated account team. You will oversee and manage the on-site and remote workforce, ensuring the delivery of professional and quality lease administration services. This role carries primary responsibility for client satisfaction, team performance, and ensuring compliance with all standards.
What You'll Do
- Serve as Executive Relationship manager and the primary point of client escalation, attending meetings to discuss work, process improvements, system enhancements, and special projects.
- Communicate with the Jones Lang LaSalle Account Executive on critical performance issues.
- Assume primary responsibility for client satisfaction across the lease administration teams.
- Oversee the performance, career development, and deliverables for as many as 6 internal teams by supervising multiple team Managers and/or Supervisors.
- Assume responsibility for the timeliness and accuracy of client reporting, including compiling and comparing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) no less than quarterly.
- Ensure account teams comply with both Client and JLL internal controls, mediating errors immediately and implementing performance plans.
- Support Client M&A activity, working directly with the Client and Account Delivery Teams to ensure proper integration.
- Work with team Managers and Supervisors to ensure knowledge sharing and cooperation between all teams and employees.
- Develop and implement work methods and procedures, including creating written training documents.
- Document and share best practices and participate in efforts to strengthen internal controls and improve data quality.
- Collaborate with the Global Compliance Manager and Americas Compliance team to ensure appropriate risk management processes, drive the ongoing internal audit program, and ensure compliance with SOC1.
- Manage any potential financial exposures from service delivery issues and collaborate with legal, finance, and account delivery teams.
- Ensure compliance with Client FASB requirements.
- Provide assistance to the national lease administration group when requested.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- At least 10 years of work experience in Lease Administration, Real Estate Accounting, or Property Management, of which at least 5 years are in Lease Administration or a closely related field.
- 5 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Strong financial and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret complex commercial lease language.
- Problem solver and critical thinker.
- Ability to support multiple teams and projects simultaneously.
- Independent worker and team player.
- Strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
- Ability to process work quickly and accurately with changing priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting practices.
- Willingness for light travel.
