Amgen Inc. is looking for a Senior Manager Information Systems – Enterprise Platforms to lead a team delivering high-quality, scalable solutions. You will orchestrate engineering delivery and operational excellence within our collaborative, science-based culture dedicated to serving patients.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop a successful team of platform engineers through recruitment, performance management, and career development
- Establish and maintain operational metrics, SLAs, and performance standards
- Monitor and manage enterprise platform operations
- Lead incident response and problem management for critical platform issues
- Oversee implementation and maintenance of platform security policies and procedures
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in platform operations
- Partner with Enterprise Platform leadership and collaborators to understand and support organizational needs
What We're Looking For
- Doctorate degree / Master's degree / Bachelor's degree
- 12 to 17 years of Information Systems experience
- Managerial experience directly managing people and/or leading teams, projects, or programs
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (Salesforce, Anaplan & MuleSoft)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms
- Understanding of ITIL frameworks and standard methodologies
- Familiarity with APIs, Workflow, Salesforce and other Gen AI tools
- Management certifications (PMP, ITIL)
- Scaled Agile (SAFe Certifications)

You will lead a team of approximately 6-9 engineers within the Enterprise Platforms group, reporting to Enterprise Platform leadership.
