HackerOne is looking for a Senior Manager, Hacker Success Program to join our global Community Team. This strategic, data-driven, and customer-focused leader will own the vision, strategy, and execution of our Hacker Success functions. You will drive meaningful engagement with our ethical hacker community, monitor their success, and act as their trusted voice both internally and externally.
What You'll Do
- Set the vision and roadmap for the Hacker Success function, aligning with company goals and community growth.
- Manage and mentor a global team of Hacker Success Managers to deliver consistent, high-impact community experiences.
- Oversee dedicated support, journey mapping, and growth development for a dedicated set of researchers.
- Manage our Hacker Advisory Board to leverage key insights for product and program investments.
- Maintain and leverage key relationships with product operations, customer success, support, and mediation teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer escalations, building and strengthening relationships.
- Use insights and performance metrics to guide strategy, improve hacker engagement, and influence product direction.
- Advocate for hackers internally and externally by presenting at events and collaborating cross-functionally.
What We're Looking For
- Expertise in leading and scaling a team.
- Experience defining departmental strategy and metric-driven delivery models that achieve measurable impact.
- 8+ years of customer service or community experience, ideally within the security industry.
- A self-directed, action-oriented individual comfortable in fast-paced environments.
- A data-driven approach to guide decisions, track impact, and grow cohorts meaningfully.
- An AI mindset to leverage tools for decision-making and continuously adopt emerging solutions.
- Ability to build clear, scalable plans for hacker growth and analyze complex problems to deliver focused solutions.
- A deep understanding and prioritization of hacker community needs to act as their voice internally.
- Proven ability to work well across teams to align efforts and drive hacker-first initiatives.
- Creativity in building programs to engage hackers through content, incentives, and recognition.
- A supportive leadership style that invests in team growth, creates space for ownership, and leads with empathy.

- Compensation varies by location: UK Tier £86K – £108K; US Tier A $148K – $185K; US Tier B $133K – $166K; US Tier C $125K – $157K + equity.
