At Harbor, the Senior Manager, Executive Communications will own the strategy and execution of executive visibility, shaping thought leadership, media presence, and speaking platforms to elevate our mission and long-term goals. You will craft compelling stories that amplify the company’s vision as part of the Marketing team.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute comprehensive communications plans and thought leadership platforms for the CEO and key executives.
- Identify and manage high-impact speaking opportunities, panels, and external events for the CEO and other approved spokespeople.
- Craft executive messaging frameworks, briefing materials, speech scripts, and social posts.
- Prepare and coach executives for press interviews, public speaking engagements, and other high-visibility opportunities.
- Lead media relations for the CEO, cultivating relationships with key journalists and outlets.
- Own and execute the CEO’s social media strategy, including goal setting, content development, editorial planning, publishing, and measurable results.
- Partner with Investor Relations on quarterly earnings preparation, including message development and external communications strategies.
- Work cross-functionally to identify and drive storytelling opportunities and creative campaigns, ensuring executive communications support business priorities.
What We're Looking For
- Eight or more years of experience in executive communications, PR, social media, corporate communications, or journalism.
- Skilled storyteller who applies art (creative) and science (data) to campaigns and programs.
- Experience managing executive social media strategy and content.
- Comfortable working with C-suite executives and has a strong executive presence.
- Strong ability to build and cultivate relationships, internally and externally.
- Curious and eager to learn about our members, business, and technology.
- Quick and nimble to implement change.
- Possess a strong ability to influence and collaborate across all levels and teams.
- Expert-level communicator and writer.
- Experience turning complex information into relevant, timely, and understandable content.
- Proactive, organized, scrappy, and loves a deadline.
- Ability to respectfully deliver feedback or coaching to leaders and has the capacity to receive feedback and act on it.

Team & Environment
This role is part of the Marketing team and reports to the VP of Communications.
