Requirements

  • Public relations experience of 5-7 years, either in an agency or in-house setting
  • Experience and/or enthusiasm for pop culture and sports
  • Proficiency in media relations
  • Established media and influencer connections
  • Ability to build new media and influencer relationships and convert them into coverage
  • Familiarity with and comfort in executing new media formats (e.g. podcasts, Substack, etc.)
  • Skill in drafting media materials, including pitches and press releases
  • Ability to optimize programs in real-time based on preliminary results to maximize success
  • Experience amplifying strategies, including paid, owned, and earned media
  • Ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects and programs, ensuring efficient use of technical and creative resources
  • Ability to advise clients on media relations activities and present plans persuasively
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with integrated agency teams and a diverse range of internal stakeholders
  • Strong team leadership abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
