Shape the future of a national service network by leading the development and implementation of strategic priorities for the Branch Network. In this role, you will define and communicate a clear roadmap focused on improving customer outcomes, refining operational efficiency, and aligning with broader organizational objectives. You'll work closely with senior leaders and field teams to identify high-impact opportunities and ensure strategic alignment across functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Branch Network’s long-term strategic plan, clearly articulating priorities in inventory management, demand generation, and physical footprint optimization.
- Continuously assess and prioritize strategic workstreams by identifying critical business questions, formulating hypotheses, and determining the data and analysis needed to guide decisions.
- Lead in-depth research using customer insights, operational observations, financial data, and performance metrics to generate actionable strategies and recommendations.
- Produce strategic briefs and presentations that align leadership around problem statements, objectives, and implementation plans.
- Deliver updates to enterprise leadership and contribute to executive-level discussions on network performance and opportunity areas.
- Form and manage cross-functional teams to execute strategic programs, ensuring coordination and accountability across departments.
- Guide analytical efforts within your team, supporting exploratory, descriptive, and statistical analysis to inform decision-making.
- Define and track key performance indicators that measure the effectiveness and impact of the Branch Network strategy.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field is required. Advanced degree (MA/MS/MBA) is preferred. Candidates should have at least seven years of experience in business or customer analysis, with demonstrated success in strategic planning and problem-solving.
Essential skills include strong analytical capabilities, strategic thinking, and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences. Experience with branch operations or end-to-end service delivery models is beneficial. The ideal candidate leads through influence, navigates ambiguity, and delivers results in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
Compensation and Work Environment
This hybrid role is based in Lake Forest, IL or Chicago, IL, with a requirement to be onsite at least two days per week. The salary range is $104,500 to $174,200.
