About the Role

Lead the strategy and execution of localization programs, aligning cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, scalable, and timely translations across digital products.

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end localization program management for digital products
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and content teams to integrate localization early in development
  • Develop and maintain localization roadmaps and timelines
  • Identify and mitigate risks that impact delivery schedules
  • Optimize workflows to improve efficiency and reduce time-to-market
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Ensure linguistic quality through standardized review processes
  • Implement and scale automation tools within the localization pipeline
  • Track and report on key performance metrics for localization initiatives
  • Advocate for localization needs within product planning cycles
  • Support the adoption of localization best practices across teams
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance translation quality
  • Coordinate regional content adaptations while maintaining brand consistency
  • Lead localization readiness for product launches
  • Ensure compliance with regional language regulations
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams
  • Maintain documentation for processes and vendor guidelines
  • Drive continuous improvement in localization infrastructure
  • Support agile development environments with rapid iteration cycles
  • Manage budgets and resource allocation for localization projects

Nice to Have

  • Master’s degree in linguistics, international business, or related field
  • Certification in project or program management
  • Direct experience in tech or software product companies
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and localization integration
  • Familiarity with machine translation and post-editing workflows
  • Experience managing large-scale multilingual content rollouts
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards in global content
  • Background in user experience localization
  • Vendor management experience in translation services
