Role Overview
As a Senior Legal Operations Specialist, you will lead the management of enterprise contracts, focusing on negotiation, compliance, and client coordination. You'll work directly with large institutions—mainly universities—to review and refine contractual terms, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and risk policies. This is a client-facing position that demands clarity, precision, and strong interpersonal skills in English.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full contract lifecycle, from drafting and review to execution and renewal
- Negotiate terms and amendments with institutional partners, emphasizing risk mitigation and compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to NDA requirements and other legally binding clauses
- Act as the primary legal operations contact for clients, providing clear explanations of contractual language
- Lead or participate in client calls and formal presentations to clarify legal terms and processes
- Coordinate follow-ups and maintain organized workflows to keep contract pipelines moving efficiently
- Identify opportunities to enhance internal legal processes and implement scalable improvements
Qualifications
- Proven background in legal operations, contract management, or a related field
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with confidence in client-facing discussions
- Direct experience negotiating agreements with large organizations, especially academic institutions
- Ability to translate complex legal concepts into accessible, straightforward language
