Responsibilities
- Deliver legal guidance on domestic and cross-border issues to internal stakeholders across the Eastern Europe and Middle East region
- Assess and interpret legal risks and support the creation and execution of strategies to mitigate or manage those risks
- Support internal teams in discussions and negotiations with third parties in high-impact or legally complex situations
- Lead or manage multifaceted legal initiatives across various practice areas involving diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain ongoing awareness of evolving laws and regulatory developments
- Prepare and evaluate a wide range of contractual agreements and legal instruments
- Support the negotiation of intricate or high-value contracts
- Develop and maintain standardized contract templates across all relevant legal domains
- Utilize established Contract Management and Matter Management systems effectively
- Organize and lead legal training sessions and workshops for designated internal teams
- Mentor junior legal staff in both technical expertise and operational capabilities
- Support internal stakeholders in managing legal claims, including litigation and pre-litigation processes, whether as plaintiff or defendant
- Engage in direct communication and negotiation with external entities such as clients, vendors, and government agencies
- Collaborate with other corporate functions and departments within the larger enterprise
- Manage and supervise relationships with external legal counsel
- Systematically document and monitor all legal matters in designated IT platforms and report status as needed
