Playlab is hiring a Senior Learning Engineer [Lab Schools Focus]

About the Role

This role involves creating, testing, and improving learning systems in real-world school settings. The individual will collaborate with educators and designers to develop curriculum, assess learning outcomes, and iterate on instructional strategies that can be adapted across different contexts.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement curriculum frameworks aligned with developmental and academic goals
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to adapt learning materials for diverse classrooms
  • Conduct ongoing assessment of student progress and instructional effectiveness
  • Iterate on learning models based on observational data and feedback
  • Support the integration of cross-disciplinary content into core subjects
  • Develop tools and resources that enhance teaching practices
  • Lead pilot programs within lab school environments
  • Document learning methodologies and share insights across teams
  • Evaluate emerging educational research for practical application
  • Facilitate professional development sessions for educators
  • Build systems that allow for scalable instructional design
  • Ensure alignment between learning objectives and assessment methods
  • Work closely with research partners to validate program outcomes
  • Integrate feedback loops into curriculum development cycles
  • Promote student-centered approaches to learning
  • Support the design of authentic performance tasks
