Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation and management of the NPS network infrastructure
- Enhance monitoring and reporting functions through the use of network management tools
- Create, update, and deliver comprehensive documentation for network systems in the NPS environment
- Evaluate existing best practices and suggest improvements for network architecture, design, and operations
- Administer the Cloudpath or similar onboarding system, monitor wireless network performance, resolve connectivity issues, maintain wireless systems, and apply security updates and firmware patches during standard business hours
- Analyze the current NPS network setup and propose enhancements for performance and efficiency
- Establish and execute testing protocols for new network infrastructure initiatives
- Deploy and integrate new technology solutions within the NPS network environment
- Offer technical guidance on network design for infrastructure projects in the NPS ecosystem
- Conduct informal training sessions and share knowledge with NPS team members on network product operations and best practices
