This remote position supports the optimization and maintenance of EPIC IT systems within clinical environments. The Senior IT Specialty Analyst plays a key role in evaluating business and clinical requirements, assessing workflows, and implementing system improvements to enhance application performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily support for EPIC applications, including configuration, upgrades, and system enhancements
- Analyze clinical and operational needs to recommend solutions that improve functionality and reduce costs
- Conduct and document workflow assessments to identify functional requirements
- Design and execute test plans for software patches and system updates
- Maintain accurate records of testing activities and outcomes
- Manage incidents, changes, and service requests using established protocols
- Deliver on-call support for application-related issues across clinical departments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and align with organizational goals
- Communicate technical requirements, software changes, and upgrade timelines clearly
- Lead small-scale projects or components of larger initiatives
- Coordinate planning around application release cycles
- Work independently with minimal supervision to resolve moderate to complex technical challenges
- Earn trust through clear communication of policies, procedures, and technical rationale
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with EPIC platforms, particularly Epic Cupid, including hands-on build and configuration work
- Background in cardiology or clinical operations with strong understanding of healthcare workflows
- Ability to assess business needs and recommend technology improvements
- Experience documenting functional requirements and system testing processes
- Strong knowledge of clinical application functionality and operational best practices
- Skill in collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to achieve integration goals
- Track record of developing test strategies and maintaining detailed testing records
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Epic Radiant certification
- Direct experience supporting Epic Radiant
- Hands-on build experience within EPIC Radiant

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this role is $91,416.00 to $152,380.80. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, premium incentives, or bonus opportunities based on eligibility.
