Sentara Health is looking for a Senior IT Specialty Analyst to join our team and support our mission to improve health every day. In this fully remote role, you will provide day-to-day support and optimization of our Epic applications, focusing on Cupid, through builds, upgrades, and system enhancements.

What You'll Do

Provide day-to-day support and optimization of Epic software applications, including builds, upgrades, and system enhancements.
Analyze business and clinical needs, evaluate software releases and new products, and provide recommendations to optimize processes and decrease expenses.
Perform and document workflow assessments to determine functional requirements for optimal application utilization.
Develop system test plans and perform testing of software upgrades and patches, maintaining detailed records of progress and results.
Manage problem, incident, and change management processes and service requests.
Provide daily on-call support to the customer base for application-related issues.
Collaborate with a cross-functional team and end-users to achieve application integration that meets business and clinical needs.
Communicate software issues, requirements, upgrades, and enhancements.
Oversee smaller-sized projects or components of projects.
Coordinate implementation and project planning around software application releases.

What We're Looking For

Epic certification in Cupid.
Experience with Epic or a clinical background in cardiology.
Hands-on experience supporting and building in Epic Cupid.
Ability to analyze business/clinical needs, evaluate software releases, and provide recommendations to improve workflows and reduce costs.
Strong background in business/clinical operations and application functionality, including hands-on experience performing and documenting workflow assessments.
Proven skill in collaborating with cross-functional teams to support application integration aligned with organizational goals.
Experience developing system test plans and executing testing for software upgrades and patches.
3 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 5+ years of relevant experience without a degree.

Bachelor’s Degree.

Experience supporting Epic Radiant.
Hands-on build experience in Epic Radiant.
