Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain internal production systems for uptime and performance
- Develop automation scripts to streamline IT operations and reduce manual effort
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy and troubleshoot infrastructure changes
- Support identity and access management systems across cloud environments
- Respond to incidents and lead resolution efforts during system outages
- Implement and manage configuration management tools
- Maintain documentation for operational procedures and system architecture
- Work with security teams to enforce compliance and internal policies
- Optimize cloud resource usage to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage and support internal developer tooling and CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot network and system-level issues affecting internal services
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies into existing IT operations frameworks
- Ensure backup and disaster recovery systems are functional and tested
- Provide technical guidance during onboarding and internal training sessions
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers for service support
- Drive initiatives to improve system observability and monitoring coverage
- Enforce standardized configurations across servers and workstations
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical system support
- Support macOS and Linux environments used by engineering teams
- Improve internal service reliability through proactive maintenance
Nice to Have
- Experience with macOS device management at scale
- Knowledge of SaaS application administration
- Familiarity with IT service management platforms like Jira or ServiceNow
- Certifications in cloud or systems administration
- Background in security engineering or compliance frameworks
