The Senior IS Business Analyst will play a key role in shaping enterprise application strategies from the Raleigh headquarters. Working closely with accounting and finance stakeholders, this individual will bridge business needs with technical execution, primarily within the JDE E1 environment.
Key Responsibilities
This position requires a strong grasp of financial operations including Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Tax, and Credit functions. The analyst will collaborate with business partners to clarify objectives, assess solution impact, and define long-term value. As a subject matter expert, they will interpret complex requirements, recommend improvements, and guide solution design.
They will lead teams of consultants and developers, ensuring timely delivery of system enhancements and projects. The role includes defining functional specifications for reports, data interfaces, conversions, and customizations tied to JDE E1 applications. The analyst will also coordinate with cross-functional IS teams, maintain SDLC documentation, and uphold standards in testing and implementation.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is required. Candidates must bring at least seven years of hands-on experience with JDE Packages in consulting or architecture roles, with deep specialization in the JDE Fixed Assets module—including asset creation, depreciation setup, and disposal processing.
Additional requirements include seven years of experience integrating external systems with JDE E1, defining functional requirements, and supporting full lifecycle implementations of JDE Finance modules. Experience with CAM, Service and Warranty, Sales and Distribution, and Procurement modules is expected. A minimum of three end-to-end JDE Finance implementations is necessary, along with broad exposure to business processes over five years.
Preference will be given to candidates with advanced relevant education. The work model is hybrid, requiring four days per week on-site in Raleigh, with one remote day allowed. Starting September 1, 2026, all work will be conducted on-site.
