U-Haul seeks a Senior Investment Advisor to deliver comprehensive wealth management services. You will provide investment management for Wealth Advisory Services clients, recommending solutions through a consultative approach and proactively managing complex relationships within a professional team.
What You'll Do
- Maintain current knowledge of financial markets, investment processes, and wealth management offerings.
- Articulate economic, financial, and market information to clients and prospects.
- Develop and review Individual Policy Statements (IPS) with clients and implement investment strategies.
- Communicate the firm's investment process from capital market expectations to performance attribution.
- Manage a book of significant and complex fiduciary relationships consistent with all laws and regulations.
- Implement the firm's investment methodology across assigned portfolios in a timely manner.
- Attend training and informational meetings to maintain market, process, and platform knowledge.
- Complete all compliance requirements, including annual and Regulation 9 account reviews.
- Identify and develop additional opportunities with existing clients.
- Provide expert support, including proposals and presentations, for new business opportunities.
- Maintain appropriate levels of personal interaction with clients, educating them on emerging issues and regulatory changes.
- Participate in sales efforts and identify opportunities within your existing book.
- Maintain positive working relationships with clients, Private Client Advisors, Trust Advisors, and other partners.
- Stay current on industry changes, including Federal and state-specific regulations.
- Participate actively in Divisional projects, initiatives, group meetings, and calls.
- Serve as a mentor for other trust professionals.
- Understand and adhere to the company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls.
- Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years’ investment-related experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 11 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 7 years’ investment-related experience.
- Comprehensive industry and investment knowledge.
- Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
- Proficient personal computer skills with solid knowledge of pertinent office software.
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated strong presentation skills.
- Experience listening and accurately interpreting client needs.
- Experience developing relationships and interacting with internal and external partners.
- Proven experience working effectively within a team environment.
Nice to Have
- MBA (Master’s degree in Business Administration).
- CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and/or CFP (Certified Financial Planner) certification.
- Proven experience working with high net worth clients and complex client relationships.

Benefits & Compensation
- Annual Salary Range: $130,795.52 - $217,992.53 (USD).
