Deel is looking for a Senior Immigration Specialist | Central Europe to join our team. In this role, you will manage immigration cases across the region, ensuring compliance and delivering expert advice and outstanding client service.
What You'll Do
- Manage immigration cases from start to finish, with a focus on complex cases, either in-house or through a third-party provider.
- Ensure cases are accurately updated on a case management system and actioned timely according to SLAs and KPIs.
- Give expert advice on immigration laws within EMEA countries ensuring client compliance with current regulations.
- Provide consultations (via email or call) to clients outlining applicable immigration and work authorization routes.
- Deliver outstanding client service through clear, professional communication and proactive case management.
- Stay up to date with changes in immigration law and policies in assigned countries, proactively communicating potential risks and changes.
- Assess right-to-work requirements for Employee of Records (EORs) and client-sponsored candidates.
- Liaise with internal teams for corporate document gathering and work closely with other departments for efficient case management.
- Show strong understanding of country-specific immigration processes, compliance requirements, and act as a subject matter expert.
- Ensure immigration documents are correctly updated, tracked, and audited to guarantee compliance and timely renewal initiation.
- Support auditing and maintaining internal knowledge base on immigration requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Work on immigration and process improvement projects, as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- 5-8 years of experience in global mobility or immigration roles.
- Proven hands-on experience managing immigration processes across Central Europe.
- Strong expertise in Poland is required.
- Experience with immigration vendor management.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong knowledge of global relocation and immigration compliance.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to manage mobility and immigration processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with ability to manage multiple cases concurrently.
- Detail-oriented and proactive in managing complex mobility cases.
- Experience with policy development and process optimization.
- Ability to stay up to date with EMEA immigration laws and adapt to regulatory changes.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and/or Kazakhstan.
- Fluent Polish language skills.
