About the Role
The role involves analyzing HR information systems with a focus on Workday HCM, translating business needs into technical solutions, supporting system upgrades, and providing expertise in system configuration, reporting, and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate current HRIS processes and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with HR and IT teams to define system requirements
- Configure and maintain Workday HCM modules
- Develop and run advanced reports and dashboards
- Support system testing for updates and new implementations
- Document functional specifications and system changes
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across platforms
- Lead training sessions for HR and end users
- Assist in change management initiatives
- Participate in project planning and execution
- Maintain compliance with data privacy standards
- Integrate Workday with other enterprise systems
- Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements
- Support payroll and benefits administration in Workday
- Facilitate user acceptance testing
- Manage security roles and access permissions
- Stay current with Workday system updates
- Provide guidance during audits and compliance reviews
- Partner with vendors and consultants as needed
Nice to Have
- Workday Advanced Reporting certification
- Experience with Workday Payroll or Benefits modules
- Prior consulting experience in HR technology
- Familiarity with integration tools like EIB or Cloud Connectors
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance in HR systems
