Pfizer Inc is seeking a Senior Health Representative – Vaccines in Islamabad to plan, execute, and follow up on marketing and sales strategies for its vaccines portfolio. The role focuses on supporting the successful launch of a new maternal vaccine in Pakistan through scientific engagement with healthcare professionals, while ensuring full compliance with company policies, SOPs, and global guidelines.
What You'll Do
- Delivering professional, high-quality, and scientifically sound product discussions with targeted healthcare professionals in the assigned territory
- Communicating disease burden, maternal immunization concepts, and vaccine science in a clear, evidence-based, and compliant manner
- Supporting the successful launch and uptake of a new maternal vaccine through focused pre-launch and post-launch execution
- Positioning vaccination as part of a broader maternal and infant health conversation, beyond product promotion
- Planning and conducting effective customer engagement activities with Obstetricians & Gynecologists, Pediatricians, Neonatologists, and relevant hospital-based and institutional stakeholders
- Developing and executing structured weekly and monthly call plans to optimize customer coverage and quality of engagement
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records and call activity reporting through Veeva CRM
- Building and maintaining strong knowledge of vaccine science and immunology
- Building and maintaining strong knowledge of maternal and infant health pathways
- Building and maintaining strong knowledge of product profile and competitive landscape
- Confidently addressing questions, concerns, and misconceptions related to maternal vaccination using approved scientific content
- Gathering and sharing high-quality market and field insights related to customer perceptions and attitudes toward maternal vaccination
- Gathering and sharing high-quality market and field insights related to institutional dynamics and decision-making pathways
- Gathering and sharing high-quality market and field insights related to adoption barriers and growth opportunities
- Providing regular feedback to the Health Representative Manager, Country Brand Manager, and Commercial Field Coordinator to support strategy refinement
- Ensuring all promotional and engagement activities are aligned with Pfizer policies and SOPs
- Ensuring all promotional and engagement activities are aligned with ethical promotion standards
- Ensuring all promotional and engagement activities are aligned with local and global compliance requirements
- Demonstrating willingness to travel frequently as per business needs
- Demonstrating willingness to relocate if required by business priorities
What We're Looking For
- Minimum Graduate
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound understanding of Pharmacology, Pathology, and Physiology, with the ability to learn complex scientific concepts
- Ability to conduct structured, confident, and impactful scientific presentations
- Strong analytical, planning, and territory management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
- High learning agility and comfort working in new and low-awareness therapeutic areas
Nice to Have
- Science Graduate or Pharm D
- Prior experience in vaccines, hospital-based products, or specialty care
