Lead the strategic promotion of a new maternal vaccine in Islamabad through science-based dialogue with key healthcare professionals. This role centers on building awareness and trust around maternal immunization by delivering accurate, compliant, and evidence-driven discussions with obstetricians, pediatricians, neonatologists, and hospital stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct professional, scientifically grounded discussions with targeted healthcare providers to communicate disease burden and the importance of maternal vaccination
- Support end-to-end launch execution, from pre-launch education to post-launch adoption strategies
- Integrate vaccine messaging into broader maternal and infant health conversations, moving beyond product-specific promotion
- Design and implement structured call plans to maximize engagement quality and territory coverage
- Use Veeva CRM to maintain precise records of customer interactions and reporting
- Stay current on immunology, vaccine science, and maternal health pathways, as well as competitive product profiles
- Address clinical questions and misconceptions using approved scientific resources
- Collect and report field insights on customer attitudes, institutional decision-making, and market barriers
- Provide actionable feedback to brand and field leadership to inform strategy adjustments
- Ensure all activities adhere to company policies, ethical promotion standards, and global compliance requirements, including MAPP and FCPA
- Demonstrate flexibility for frequent travel and potential relocation based on business needs
Qualifications
Candidates must hold at least a bachelor’s degree and have 2–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales. Strong communication skills, scientific understanding of pharmacology and physiology, and the ability to deliver confident, structured presentations are essential. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM platforms is required.
Preference will be given to applicants with a science degree or Pharm D, and those with prior experience in vaccines, hospital products, or specialty care. High learning agility is critical, especially in low-awareness therapeutic areas.
