Lead geotechnical projects from concept to completion, overseeing site investigations, data analysis, and technical reporting. This role centers on delivering high-quality engineering solutions for infrastructure and dam-related work, with a strong focus on safety, sustainability, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct geotechnical studies including planning, fieldwork, laboratory testing, and interpretation of soil and rock behavior
- Design foundations, earthworks, retaining systems, and erosion controls based on site-specific conditions
- Assess slope stability, settlement, and load capacity to inform safe and durable designs
- Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, and specifications for construction teams
- Support multidisciplinary projects involving tunnels, bridges, highways, and hydraulic structures
- Conduct or assist in dam safety evaluations, condition reviews, and upgrade planning
- Identify and manage geohazards such as landslides, flooding, and seismic risks
- Ensure quality control in analysis methods and reporting standards
- Develop proposals and bid documentation for new project opportunities
- Advise and mentor early-career engineers to strengthen team capabilities
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to meet project goals on time and within budget
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven leadership in geotechnical engineering with experience managing complex technical studies
- Strong background in field investigations, data interpretation, and engineering design
- Experience in dam safety, infrastructure projects, and risk assessment
- Ability to develop technical recommendations and detailed project documentation
- Track record of mentoring engineers and maintaining high technical standards
