You will play a central role in advancing the geometry processing pipeline within a team focused on the convergence of generative AI and 3D computer graphics. Your work will directly impact how generated 3D forms are transformed into clean, usable, and artist-ready assets across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance geometry algorithms for mesh simplification, remeshing, feature preservation, and volumetric representations.
- Develop automated systems to improve mesh quality and generate accurate UV layouts that meet professional production requirements.
- Bridge the gap between generative models and creative tools by enabling seamless conversion of raw geometry into textured, rigged, and skinned assets.
- Establish and maintain a unified system for geometry processing tools, ensuring consistency, documentation, and accessibility across teams.
- Optimize core algorithms for speed, reliability, and scalability to remove manual intervention from the asset evaluation workflow.
Qualifications
Applicants should hold a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field. You must have a demonstrated ability to implement and refine foundational mesh processing techniques, including quadric error-based simplification, high-quality remeshing, and robust UV parameterization.
Strong programming skills in C++ and Python are essential, with an emphasis on writing clear, efficient, and maintainable code. You should be adept at turning research concepts into practical, scalable software solutions and have experience building automation systems for technical pipelines.
Excellent communication skills are required to collaborate across disciplines with researchers, artists, and product teams.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with GPU programming using CUDA, DirectX, or Vulkan.
- Hands-on experience with geometry libraries such as Eigen, CGAL, or Libigl.
- Background in 3D pipeline development within game studios, visual effects houses, or generative AI product teams.
- Working knowledge of Blender, Maya, Unreal Engine, or Unity APIs.
Work Environment
This role supports hybrid work models with on-site locations in Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing. Exceptional candidates may qualify for fully remote arrangements. The team values direct, honest feedback, technical excellence, and a shared passion for pushing the boundaries of 3D content creation.
Our culture emphasizes intelligence, empathy, bold thinking, and a strong sense of aesthetics in both product and process. We encourage risk-taking, trust technical instincts, and prioritize meaningful innovation.
