EY is hiring a Senior Forensics Professional

Lead and deliver high-impact compliance, integrity, and forensic investigations across audit and assurance engagements. This role focuses on identifying, assessing, and mitigating critical business risks using advanced analytics, AI tools, and a deep understanding of internal controls and corporate governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct forensic accounting and fraud investigations, delivering actionable insights to clients facing regulatory or reputational concerns
  • Perform assessments of internal control systems and corporate governance practices
  • Support assurance teams in evaluating financial reporting integrity and compliance frameworks
  • Leverage AI and GenAI technologies to enhance investigative accuracy and efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on dispute resolution and risk advisory services
  • Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders in both Greek and English, both verbally and in writing

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Prior experience in external audit, financial reporting, or forensic accounting is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office—particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint—is required. A strong commitment to accuracy, quality, and continuous learning is expected.

Preferred credentials include ACCA, ACA, JES, AMP, CIA, ACAMS, or CFE certifications. Demonstrated forensic accounting experience is highly valued.

Technology and Tools
