Responsibilities
- Design and improve sophisticated time-series and causal models to deliver precise baseline forecasts for global business segments.
- Supervise and guide a small group of analysts, managing their technical work and career growth.
- Orchestrate monthly forecasting consensus meetings, working with commercial, marketing, and finance leaders to blend ground-level market intelligence with top-down statistical projections.
- Serve as the expert on forecasting technology (o9 Solutions), ensuring algorithms are calibrated for peak accuracy and efficiency.
- Coordinate demand forecasting with supply chain and manufacturing planning to maintain optimal inventory levels and product availability.
- Perform in-depth Forecast Value Add (FVA) assessments to detect weaknesses in forecasting processes and models, then lead improvements.
- Convert complex statistical results into clear, strategic narratives for executive decision-making.
