Egis Group is hiring a Senior Flooding & Stormwater Engineer

As a Senior Flooding & Stormwater Engineer, your impact will be within our Queensland operations. The Flood and Stormwater team delivers a wide variety of projects from feasibility stage through to concept and detailed engineering design and construction support. Some of their focus areas include hydrologic analysis (catchment rainfall / runoff) and hydraulic (1D and 2D) flood modelling; flood risk and impact assessment; flood emergency response; dam break analysis, development of flood overlays for Planning Schemes and Local Environment Plans; stormwater and flood management policy and strategy; and the planning and design of integrated stormwater management systems. This is an opportunity to work within a passionate and well-established team to deliver innovative solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects - locally and nationally! You will be responsible for: - Developing and reviewing hydraulic, hydrological and water quality models and calculations for application in flood studies, flood impact assessments, stormwater management plans and design of WSUD infrastructure. - Manage a range of private and government sector projects involving direct client liaison, attending meetings, preparation of progress updates and data collation. - Prepare and review technical reports.
