You'll lead hydrological and hydraulic investigations for critical infrastructure in transport, land development, water, dams, and energy sectors, ensuring communities are built to withstand future flood risks.
What You'll Do
- Lead flood modelling and assessment projects using industry-standard tools including TUFLOW, RORB, WBNM, and XP-RAFTS
- Deliver robust technical outcomes within budget, schedule, and quality expectations
- Collaborate with internal specialists and external stakeholders, including public authorities and clients
- Mentor early-career engineers and contribute to a culture of learning and growth
- Apply the latest Australian Rainfall and Runoff (ARR) 2019 guidelines to real-world challenges
- Support innovation by exploring emerging technologies and improved engineering practices
What We're Looking For
- A degree in civil or environmental engineering
- At least five years of professional experience in flood modelling and hydrology
- Proficiency in GIS platforms such as QGIS, ArcGIS, or MapInfo
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex results into clear insights
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and managing technical workstreams
