Responsibilities
- Often be responsible for the completion of a part of a project or activities for which they lead a small team
- Work with other members of our Compute & Cloud Platforms Team to ensure systems remain in compliance with best practices
- Meet internal design criteria and comply with Internal Information Security and Internal Audit specified guidelines
- Under general supervision to support, maintain, and configure servers, storage systems, and backup solutions globally
- Implement FinOps best practices to align cloud costs with business objectives and budgets
- Develop dashboards and reports for stakeholders, providing insights into cost trends, anomalies, and forecasts
- Work closely together with the Controlling community to allocate costs origin-based
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through rightsizing, reserved instances, and architectural improvements
- Establish and enforce policies for cloud resource usage and financial accountability
- Work closely with Local IT, Engineering, and finance teams to implement approved recommendations
- Provide guidance on budgeting and forecasting for hybrid environments
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills
- Deep knowledge of AWS/Azure
- Ability to drive financial governance across multi-cloud environments
- Capable of working independently as well as in teams
- Understands business demand and is business-oriented
