Key targets: - often be responsible for the completion of a part of a project or activities for which they lead a small team - work with other members of our Compute & Cloud Platforms Team to ensure systems remain in compliance with best practices, - meet internal design criteria and comply with Internal Information Security and Internal Audit specified guidelines. - under general supervision to support, maintain, and configure servers, storage systems, and backup solutions globally. We are seeking a highly skilled FinOps Cloud Consultant to join our team and help optimize cloud financial operations. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between identifying financial cloud optimization opportunities, advising customers on how to implement the necessary changes, and performing originator-based allocations, ensuring cost efficiency, transparency, and accountability in cloud spending. This role requires strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of AWS/Azure, and the ability to drive financial governance across multi-cloud environments. • Financial Governance: Implement FinOps best practices to align cloud costs with business objectives and budgets. • Reporting & Forecasting: Develop dashboards and reports for stakeholders, providing insights into cost trends, anomalies, and forecasts. • Controlling: Work closely together with the Controlling community to allocate costs origin-based • Optimization Initiatives: Identify opportunities for cost savings through rightsizing, reserved instances, and architectural improvements. • Policy Development: Establish and enforce policies for cloud resource usage and financial accountability. •Work closely with Local IT, Engineering, and finance teams to implement approved recommendations. •Provide guidance on budgeting and forecasting for hybrid environments.
