Eightx is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to deliver Fractional CFO services to a portfolio of fast-growing eCommerce brands and agencies worldwide. In this role, you will provide critical financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to help clients scale their businesses effectively.
What You'll Do
- Assist a portfolio of clients worldwide with financial modeling, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, scenario planning, and variance analysis.
- Help with market research and trend analysis to give clients ideas for improving operations, financial structure, and results.
- Build 3-statement financial models from the ground up and update them monthly with actual client results.
- Run and adjust models every month, communicating potential issues to clients and CFOs.
- Collect scenario data for analysis and perform market research to enhance model realism.
- Create monthly financial reporting packages with analysis and commentary.
- Create and update KPI dashboards and 3-statement financial forecasts.
- Monitor and forecast cash flow.
- Update Board and Investor reporting decks.
What We're Looking For
- You are a Microsoft Excel expert and incredibly fast at building, updating, and troubleshooting financial models.
- You understand North American accounting principles.
- You are self-motivated, can use judgement and creativity to solve problems, and are happy in a fast-paced environment.
- You take ownership of your work and mistakes and are comfortable using professional skills to make inferences when you don't know everything.
- You have a Bachelors Degree and 5+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
Nice to Have
- You have a professional designation or Masters Degree (e.g., CPA, CA, MFin, MSc).
