Anduril Industries is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst specializing in Capital Expenditures to support our Network and Operations teams. You will be responsible for creating, organizing, coordinating, and presenting data and analyses for capital projects and budgets. This role leads the financial analysis and reporting for all Capex activities related to outside plant construction.
What You'll Do
- Prepare weekly project status updates and monthly project expenditure reports.
- Monitor capital expenditures against established budgets.
- Deliver monthly results to the Network and Operations team and Lumos Senior Leadership.
- Deliver required input for the Monthly Operations Report presented to the Board of Directors.
- Reconcile project transactions by comparing and correcting data.
- Identify trends and recommend actions based on sound analysis.
- Partner with teams to clearly interpret cost variance drivers.
- Open and manage capital projects in the company ERP system.
- Assist in the development of the annual budget for Network and Operations organizations.
- Compile, analyze, aggregate, quality check, and report on capital projects.
- Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of professional experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a combination of coursework and experience.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Experience forecasting, tracking, and reporting sales and expense budgets.
- Strong project and time management skills.
- Advanced analytical skills; ability to work through complex issues with a methodical approach.
- Advanced MS Office Suite knowledge and usage; ability to learn internal company applications.
- High degree of comfort working with large amounts of data from multiple sources.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
