Serve Robotics is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, analysis, and decision-making. As a trusted financial partner, you will lead budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling to help guide our business strategy within our agile and collaborative culture.
What You'll Do
- Lead the preparation, analysis, and maintenance of detailed financial models and forecasts.
- Perform regular variance analysis and provide insights into budget versus actual results.
- Develop and maintain dynamic scenario models to assess the financial impact of business strategies.
- Leverage advanced Excel/Google Sheets and ChatGPT to automate and simplify complex reporting processes.
- Act as a trusted financial partner to business units, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Prepare clear, concise, and insightful financial commentary for stakeholders.
- Apply solid knowledge of accounting principles to ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis.
- Proficiency in advanced Google Sheets and Excel.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
- Experience with scenario modeling and financial forecasting tools.
- Comfort using emerging productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, scripting, workflow automation).
- Strong business acumen and ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and a solid understanding of financial statements.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- 4+ years of experience.
- Experience in a tech, robotics, or fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ERP tools like NetSuite.
- Experience implementing FP&A planning tools (Planful, Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive).
