At Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), we are shaping the future of real estate for a better world. We are looking for a Senior Facilities Manager to ensure the efficient and effective management of all assigned client facilities in South Korea. This role requires a proactive leader who can drive continuous improvement in facility operations while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
What You'll Do
- Manage all facility operations, including critical environment maintenance, health and safety, sustainability programs, cleaning, landscaping, pest control, and waste management.
- Meet and exceed critical and key performance indicators.
- Prepare and manage the facility’s Capex and Opex budget, ensuring financial objectives are met.
- Plan and execute facility improvement projects, renovations, and relocations, interfacing with the project team on capital projects.
- Establish and maintain relationships with landlords, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely, quality service delivery within budget.
- Handle procurement and contract administration, ensuring services deliver value and contracts are renewed on time.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry standards related to health, safety, and the environment.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address maintenance or safety issues.
- Manage facility requests and ensure work orders are closed on time for superior service delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sustainability, health and safety, project, finance) to meet facilities goals.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of facilities staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Stay current with industry trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Prepare, submit, and present periodic facilities reports.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in facilities management, with demonstrated ability to manage commercial office facilities, preferably in financial or technology institutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership, people, and time management skills.
- Good knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and relevant regulations.
- Good project management skills with a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Good communication skills – both written and oral in English and Korean.
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and workplace management technology tools such as BMS, Work Order Management systems, and asset management tools.
Nice to Have
- Certifications such as Certified Facility Manager, Fire Safety Manager, or LEED certification are a plus.

Team & Environment
You will have a team of 2 direct reports (a facilities engineer and a facilities coordinator) and will report directly to the Regional Operations Director based in Singapore. Locally, you will work closely with the JLL Country Account Manager, client representatives, business unit admins, and regional workplace functional leads.

This is an onsite position based in Seoul, Korea, Republic of.
