Canva is hiring a Senior Experiential Marketing Manager on a 6-month contract to lead the strategy and execution of our global owned events. You will be responsible for setting the vision and delivering large-scale, high-impact experiences, with a core focus on AI Vision and Owned Events, to evolve our brand globally.
What You'll Do
- Lead Canva’s global owned events end-to-end, setting vision, driving alignment, and managing complex, cross-functional delivery.
- Own agency partnerships and oversee planning and execution across programming, creative, production, and operations.
- Partner with teams across Creative, Campaigns, Product, PMM, B2B Marketing, Sales, and Digital to deliver cohesive, high-quality experiences.
- Shape content programming for flagship events, including agendas, formats, storytelling, and speaker experiences.
- Extend live experiences into compelling digital moments, including landing pages, promotional assets, and rewatch content.
- Ensure a consistent, high-bar attendee journey from pre-event through onsite execution to post-event amplification across social, PR, partnerships, and product channels.
- Plan and deliver experiences ranging from large-scale tentpoles to pop-ups and product launches, managing budgets, timelines, vendors, and workflows.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience bringing brands to life through experiential or brand marketing.
- Experience working on large-scale, high-profile, and global initiatives.
- Understanding of what makes audiences tick and ability to craft compelling journeys.
- Fluent in both digital and in-person experiences, bridging the two seamlessly.
- Experience working in or with agencies, managing multiple collaborators, vendors, or stakeholders.
- Strong creative point of view and deep understanding of how to translate brand objectives into experiential concepts.
- Ability to mix creativity with strategic thinking, prioritize effectively, and manage details and big picture.
- Excel at engaging and influencing cross-functional stakeholders, leading from idea to execution.
- High emotional intelligence, empathy, and a sense of humor.
- Thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy collaborating across teams, and are excited about working on a global stage.
