AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Senior Estimator to lead cost estimation and planning for large-scale infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will be a key part of our team, ensuring financial clarity and value from project conception.
What You'll Do
- Lead the preparation of pre-contract cost estimates, cost plans, and benchmarking for large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Develop and manage Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and pre-tender estimates using CESSM and other industry standards.
- Support the development of procurement strategies, including packaging, tendering, and contract formation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment between design intent and cost objectives.
- Prepare and review tender documentation, including pricing schedules and contract conditions.
- Conduct market analysis and engage with supply chain to inform cost data and procurement planning.
- Assist in risk and value management and cost control functions.
- Assist in identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks.
- Attend and represent at commercial meetings.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in cost management within the construction industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
- Strong background in pre-contract quantity surveying for infrastructure and civil engineering projects, including masterplanning.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

- Major international events experience (e.g., expos, sports events, cultural festivals).
