About the Role

This position involves leading engineering design and project delivery for marine and port infrastructure, supporting senior managers and clients across a range of coastal and maritime developments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and review of engineering designs for marine structures and port facilities
  • Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments for coastal infrastructure projects
  • Prepare technical specifications and construction documentation
  • Perform hydrodynamic and wave action analyses for coastal environments
  • Evaluate environmental impacts related to marine construction
  • Support project managers in scheduling and budgeting for engineering tasks
  • Coordinate with permitting agencies on regulatory compliance
  • Oversee geotechnical investigations for waterfront structures
  • Review contractor submittals and construction methodologies
  • Provide technical guidance to junior engineering staff
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and safety standards
  • Participate in risk assessments for marine construction activities
  • Develop conceptual layouts for port expansions and upgrades
  • Assist in the selection of marine construction materials and methods
  • Monitor project progress and provide engineering updates to stakeholders
