Responsibilities
- Lead the development and review of civil and highway design plans
- Coordinate engineering efforts across project teams
- Ensure compliance with applicable design standards and regulations
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications
- Support project management activities including scheduling and budgeting
- Perform drainage and utilities design integration
- Review contractor submittals and construction documentation
- Provide technical direction to junior engineers and designers
- Collaborate with public agencies and stakeholders
- Oversee construction phase services as needed
- Conduct design calculations for road geometry and grading
- Integrate sustainable design practices into projects
