About the Role
The role involves supporting and enhancing endpoint management systems with expertise in Jamf and Microsoft Intune. The engineer will ensure secure, scalable, and efficient device management across the organization's environment.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Jamf Pro for macOS device lifecycle management
- Manage Microsoft Intune for Windows and mobile device configuration and compliance
- Design and deploy endpoint imaging and provisioning workflows
- Implement security policies and configurations across all managed devices
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to endpoint management tools
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to enforce compliance standards
- Maintain accurate documentation for systems, processes, and configurations
- Support software distribution and patch management initiatives
- Monitor system health and performance of endpoint management platforms
- Lead efforts to automate routine endpoint administration tasks
- Ensure endpoint configurations align with organizational security baselines
- Evaluate and integrate new endpoint technologies and tools
- Provide escalation support for complex endpoint-related incidents
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding workflows for managed devices
- Participate in system upgrades and platform version updates
Nice to Have
- Certifications in Jamf, Microsoft, or related technologies
- Experience with AirWatch or other MDM solutions
- Familiarity with Zero Trust security models
- Background in large-scale device deployments
- Knowledge of compliance standards such as HIPAA or SOC 2
