AECOM is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineering

About the Role

This role involves leading electrical design efforts for large-scale infrastructure, ensuring compliance with technical standards, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing expertise across project lifecycles from concept through construction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of electrical system designs for transportation, facilities, or utility projects
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations
  • Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for electrical infrastructure
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and structural engineers on integrated solutions
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables for electrical components
  • Review contractor submittals and provide technical feedback
  • Perform field inspections and support construction administration
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
  • Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders
  • Apply knowledge of power distribution, lighting, and control systems
  • Utilize CAD and BIM software for design and documentation
  • Lead design reviews and risk assessments
  • Support sustainable design practices and energy-efficient solutions
  • Prepare bid documents and support procurement activities
