AECOM is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer - Water Projects

Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical engineering tasks for water-related infrastructure projects.
  • Design and implement electrical systems for water treatment facilities, pumping stations, and other related structures.
  • Develop and review project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Conduct site inspections and oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary materials and equipment.
  • Perform feasibility studies and cost estimates for new projects.
  • Participate in project bidding and proposal development.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure high standards of work.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during project execution.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in electrical engineering for water projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.

  • Provide support for commissioning and startup activities of electrical systems.

  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate electrical systems with overall project designs.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
