In this fully remote position, you will take full responsibility for electrical design, modeling, and system validation, ensuring performance, safety, and adherence to national and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct electrical engineering efforts on large-scale U.S. projects from concept through construction
- Design and simulate power distribution systems, including medium- and low-voltage networks, uninterruptible power supplies, backup generators, and security infrastructure
- Produce detailed engineering calculations, schematics, and technical specifications for construction and commissioning
- Coordinate with architects and engineering disciplines using BIM to resolve design conflicts and optimize integration
- Conduct power system studies, including short circuit, protective coordination, and arc flash analysis, using SKM, Etap, or equivalent platforms
- Perform underground ductbank thermal and ampacity analysis using Neher-McGrath methods
- Review shop drawings and ensure alignment with NEC, IEEE, and other applicable codes
- Use laser scanning to verify as-built conditions and support accurate modeling
- Oversee on-site activities, including construction supervision and progress reviews

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and have 10–15 years of relevant experience, ideally in mission-critical or industrial construction. Required skills include:
- Expertise in MV/LV power systems, redundancy strategies (N+1, 2N), and energy-efficient design
- Working knowledge of NEC, IEEE, and safety standards for critical facilities
- Proficiency in BIM (Autodesk Revit), CAD tools, and engineering software such as SKM, Etap, or EasyPower
- Experience with VDC, digital twins, 3D modeling, and computational fluid dynamics
- Strong project management skills with ability to lead teams and coordinate field operations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Credentials
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Certifications such as LEED AP or PMP
- Background in data center or large industrial projects
